Safari Snapshots
We came back from our 4day Safari on Monday, completely exhausted. The ride to Arusha, a city near many of Tanzanians National Parks took 8 hours. From there, we also endured a ride of at least 2 hours between the other national parks we visited. The Safari packed week consisted of early mornings, long drives, and late nights. However, it was worth it all .The experiences and memories cannot even be explained by words, and it is my hope that some of the below pictures accurately display the majestic beauty God has blessed my Nation with.
Below are some pictures of animals we saw during the trip, and places we stayed. One of the places you will notice, was a campground. This location was such a suprise to us! Its good our guide didn't inform us of this earlier because otherwise we wouldn't have agreed to come. Imagine, my family (a family that never has experienced camping, nor has really desired to)finding out that they were to spend the night in a campground in the middle of the serengeti (hours away from civilization) surrounded by lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, elephants, you name it! Needless to say, it was the most sleepless night we had during the Vacation, but having survived alive, it was an experience I am glad to have been a part of. Haha
Lots of stories behind some of the pictures, and am looking forward to sharing them with all of you when I return!
XoXo
